From HOD’s Desk

Mr. Mithun Kumar
The Department of Electrical Engineering, DAVIET, which has a fine blend of renowned as well as young and dynamic personalities as faculty, is involved in providing quality education at Undergraduate (UG) levels. It has a broad based UG curriculum programs in Communication Systems, Microelectronics and Power Systems and Instrumentation. The syllabi of the courses are continuously updated and the laboratories modernized to reflect the rapid changes in technology. It also offers high quality research in the B.Tech course.
The demand of power in the country is accelerating at a very fast rate and for the progress of the country, many power projects are coming. In new energy sector development of the engineers required should have knowledge of both the theory and practical knowledge. The modern automatic systems like radar or fuzzy based systems required the electrical engineering. In next four years, the demand of I.T. engineers will be very high. The electrical engineering can choose line of software as well as VLSI and embedded systems. In industrial electronics the basics are related to electrical circuits hence electrical has a very good option to work.
